Sydney - Apple Store and Hoodoo Gurus

Whilst visiting friends in Sydney, I had the opportunity to visit the central Apple Store, as well as the Chatswood store (no images of that one sorry). That night, the Apple Store was hosting an "iTunes Live" event of Aussie Legends the Hoodoo Gurus. As fate would have it, the Gurus are my favourite band of all time and Apple Australia kindly gave me VIP access the event. This meant no queueing...and a nice feature...all VIPs were given badges to hang around their neck that included a code for 5 free iTunes songs. Images are from Sydney, Friday September 4, 2009.

Nice one! Lucky lucky you!!! It looks bigger than the Regent Street shop in London. Lovely!! Still has the staircase from hell as far as my partner is concerned! Would LOVE to visit this one day!

It's a long thing store, so I doubt it is bigger than the Regent Street one....there's not much depth to the store (in fact the stairs as so wide they lost some floor real estate there) but it is long. I was told by one of the staff that they have the longest Genius Bar in the world...and it looks like it! Phil
