Up until recently, I was using Yum, but bought MacGourmet as part of the MacMixPromo.com offer. Admittedly, it was to get ComicBookLover cheaply, but I'm loving it so far! - cell-gfx

Darryn, this is a fantastic review.
We are users of MacGourmet Deluxe and love it, use the meal planner and it generates a shopping list that we use on http://Woolworths.co.nz to have groceries delivered (a little 10 digit interface :P)
Worth noting that there are a large number of recipes that can be downloaded, and MacGourmet also have a forum for sharing recipes which download directly into MacGourmet. Deluxe also has a nutritional calendar over the standard version and a couple of other extras.

One other notable software package is YummySoup! by Hungry Seacow http://hungryseacow.com/. Might have considered it, but saw this after I have purchased MacGourmet Deluxe.

Now you just need a KitchenMac
