Hi folks!

I've got a mate who's just purchased a new iMac (mmmmmmm nice!)

He however also has an iBook G4 and needs to copy files regularly from the iMac to the iBook. (iBook is used soley for playing wav files at gigs, so currently preparation is done on iMac, burnt to CD then copied off CD onto iBook).

A PC currently hogs the Telstraclear cable modem internet connection.

I'd like to pop in a wireless router to keep the iMac up to date, and the iBook too, and it would make copying between the two so much simpler!! However, the iBook doesn't have wireless capabilities built in. Is there a mac compatible USB wireless network adapter available that we can just plug in to connect it to the wireless network?

Specs:
iBook G4
PowerPC G4 (3.3)
256 MB RAM

Very keen on any thoughts and suggestions!

The iBook as a wireless card slot just under the keyboard so I would recommend one of these:

I used to have one in my iBook G4 and they do a really good job. I think it's simply a matter of plugging it in but it may need drivers which will be on the disc any way.

Configuring wireless is as simple as selecting the wireless network you want to connect to.

Sorry I have't got back to you sooner, I've been on holiday. If you still need the card how does $75 including post sound?
