Hi there.

I`m coming from overseas and i decided to buy an new Apple.

I stay since 6 Weeks here and I don`t find something yet.

Maybe You know some places to get a good finance or a apple store in Wellington who
makes good offers?

Also I`m looking for a Macdrive7 CD(!) because I have to transfer everything from the Girlfriens Vista/PC to my MAC Ipod.

Where in Town are good Shops to find something?

My last question is, if New Zealand expect the IPhone or is it better to buy from Overseas?

I prefer to deal with Magnum Mac on Vivian Street. If you're coming from North of the city go through the Terrace Tunnel and and you will come out on Vivian St. Head down and before you get to Cambridge Terrace (you'll see KFC) Magnum Mac will be the black building on your right.

They use Flexirent as their finance company but I don't like them because they are not flexible when it comes to being able to give them money. They only offer direct debit instead of autopayments which allow you to set the date of the payments to suit you. I got around that. I let the payments default until they asked me to make manual payments to which they gave me their bank details and I set the autopayments up myself and haven't defaulted a payment since. If only they'd have let me do that from the word go. Typical Aussies.

There are a few finance companies out there. Pacific Retail are quite good and Now Finance keep wanting to give me money so I guess they're good.

Other Companys like Noel Leeming also have Finance but they have fixed terms or not?
I want to buy a Apple with finance for 3 - 6 Months but it seems to be, it will be easier to get a credit card and buy it with this one.

Actually I would be inclined to agree with this and the interest probably works out less.

Also, considering you would be new to this country it might be pretty tough getting finance especially as finance companies seem to be dropping like flies at the moment.
