The Wellington Macintosh Society (WelMac http://welmac.org.nz ), is in the initial planning stages for a series of seminars and tutorial sessions in the Wellington Region. These will be aimed at schools and related to use of Macs, help and troubleshooting, and other Macinstosh related issues. We aim to conduct these at schools asking for assistance.
We will be aiming to provide these free of charge. If you or your school may be interested in being involved, please join our schools assistance mailing list.

In addition, WelMac is organising MovieFest 2003 - A NZ Short Movie Competition. Entries have closed - but the Screenings and Awards Ceremony are yet to happen on the 27th of September. It's been a year.. and no-one replied....

This was one of my first posts on this board!

Anyway, enough history lessons..

The Wellington Macintosh Society (WelMac http://welmac.org.nz ), is doing what it planned: a series of seminars and tutorial sessions in the Wellington Region. These will be aimed at basic and advanced levels and related to use of Macs, help and troubleshooting, and other Macinstosh related issues.
We have managed to secure the services of a number of skilled tutors, and last time we ran a seminar we had people from as far as Dunedin attending!
