Awesome roker! I just hope there is someone there who is happy to 'maintain' them. If it is left to the regular tech to ensure they fit in with the rest of the school system, then sometimes thay can make things more difficult than they need to be. I've heard plenty of horror stories.
Thankfully the school where I work is Mac-only! Although we only have four classrooms - each room has 6-7 desktop machines ranging from G3 Indigo iMacs through to 20"G5 iMacs. And we have a set of 30+ iBooks/MacBooks that move around the rooms too - all wirelessly connected to our Dual 1.8GHz G5 Server. There are also are smattering of other Macs around the school and not a PC in sight!
It's a great environment to work in!!
