Time to breakout Mac The Ripper or Handbrake 1 Month ago  
New Zealand made it onto the front page of Ars Technica today with the release of their new copyright reform.

If passed it basically means it is legal to format shift, time shift, and the best news is that Region encoded games and DVDs are NOT protected under the law effectively meaning that Mac The Ripper is more or less legal to use in NZ.
