I've worked on one of them and they are no way near as good as they claim.

They take ages to build, and run slowly when they are up and running.

I don't think 2 extra USB ports are going to make up for pathetic performance. Also considering the amount of devices they plugged into the MBA on that ad they're up for a USB hub soon too.

FSJ had something about it and a friend who knows I'm a Mac fan twittered the video at me during the week

The Thinkpad used to be a nice windows laptop when IBM owned the brand, I don't see that should have changed much with the change in ownership.

The MacBook Air is a nice machine, but I'm not sure they're as good as some hope - the only person I know with one (I follow his blog) has already had to get the keyboard fixed
