Hi folks. I have the simplest of simple questions. Can anyone tell me how robust a Macbook is while being transported around in sleep mode? I do this quite a lot, carrying it in my backpack when commuting, and using it off and on. Sleep mode obviously means I don't have to keep firing it up and turning it off. But is this a good idea? If it gets a solid bump in sleep mode, is it likely to do its innards damage?

Thanks and best wishes, Jomax

No answers yet?? Too simple a question??? Well, here's another. I use a Microsoft ergonomic keyboard (why don't Apple make one?) and I'm just wondering which key is for Expose? Can't seem to find one! Thanks Jomax

This should cause no issues at all. Just make sure the Macbook is actually asleep before tossing it into your backpack. I have been using my Macbooks since they cam out and almost never closed them down, just closed the lid and put it to sleep. Sorry no answer on the keyboard question, never used that model of keyboard. Try Microsoft on-line help.

Hope this helps
