Mail not responding 5 Months, 1 Week ago  
Every-time I launch mail the kaleidoscope goes round and round and round for ever until I have to force quit. Any suggestions?

did it work before?

Do you have time machine connected to a external drive?

is this a new account if ti is welcome to mail as I got this problem is this a brand new account setting up the email as it does freezes up.

I can help a bit more as I use it so much on my Imac.

No my imac is about 6 months old and I only use mail, I have had problems since I installed a software update 2-3 weeks ago. Lost all my other mail accounts and only have my .mac on it.
