smart mailboxes and my inbox 2 Months, 1 Week ago
I was going to ask if there is a way to have 'Mail' hide emails that match any smart mailbox in my inbox, sort of negating the basic idea of smart mailboxes, but I Googled a little harder.

Is it possible to set up a smart mailbox to show all emails that don't match with any of the rules of the other smart mailboxes?

I am crossing over from PC to iMac at work and I see an advantage in not making actual inboxes/folders but I want the emails that have matched rules in existing smart mailboxes to disappear so I have less to sift through for other emails that should go to existing smart mailboxes or safely ignored or new smart mailbox made for them.

Thanks in advance.

Edited about 20 hours later:

I've been back to the MAC (I take leisure to write from home with my paling PC), had a poke around the smart mailbox config dialog and found a query something like 'all unmapped emails', got interrupted by some work duties that wouldn't wait and I expect to be grinning manically at what I am after tomorrow - sort of embarrassed I posted now.

Any old PC to MAC crossovers got any tips they'd like to lay on me?
