leopard vs tiger 7 Months, 1 Week ago
I have a imac 20' it is about 6 months old. When I first got it my plan was to get every upgrade add on that came out. I was so excited on the lead-up to leopards release, then I got cold feet and now I am not sure if i should make the change...

Can anyone offer any good reasons or negatives to changing over .
Thanks

Personally, I prefer the Tiger interface and at this stage you can't modify the Leopard interface (a tip for those that just can't get used to square corners at top of your display, download Displaperture). I've upgraded because I want to be using the same system on my iMac and MacBook Air and there are some great new features in Mac OS X 10.5 such as web clip, Spaces, the new version of Front Row and many behind the scenes changes. It's really up to you. If you don't think you'll use the new features and your applications don't require Mac OS X 10.5, then maybe you don't need to upgrade yet. However, if you can see things you want in Mac OS X 10.5, then it is probably a good idea to upgrade.
