Add a new location in "find" window 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago
Hi,
I am trying to add a new location to search within (i.e. iPhoto library) in the find window (command+f) but am having no luck. This was possible in 10.4.x but I can not find how to do it in 10.5.2 (recent upgrade!) pls help!

Giles.

Excuse me if misunderstanding what trying to do, however have you just tried entering the search in Spotlight. It traverses the iPhoto Library, and will link to the underlying file (showing -Modified or -Data or -Originals to distinguish which version of the file)

Other option is to open finder and go to Pictures. If you search from here it will traverse the iPhoto Library.
If you want to limit the search within iPhoto Library, right click on "iPhoto Library" and select Show Package Contents.
The try the search.

Finder still has a long way to go in useability

And I was sure you could simply click Others to choose another location in Tiger version of Smart Folders ...
