installing leopard? 2 Weeks, 6 Days ago
I have just ordered my copy of leopard and it will arrive next week. I also purchased officemac 2008 and have it here ready to install. Question is should I do my leopard install before office or does it matter. Also I am worried about my itunes library as I have 4,000 songs what will happen to them when I do my install????

You should have no issue with both parts - I had no problems with iTunes or with Office 2004 following my leopard upgrade.

I know this is going to sound like a pain but perform a backup of your data and do an erase and install. Upgrades may not work fully and you could end up with a lot of corrupted data (although pretty remote).

Back every thing up to an external drive and you should be right.

You can still tempt fate with an upgrade if you want but if you have 3rd party extensions like Application Enhancer, Onyx, etc then uninstall these first because if you don't you could end up with an unstable system.

In any case back all your data up to an external drive first.
