Excellent news.

Does iPhoto automatically pick the right country when buying a book? If I click on the Options & Prices button (in iPhoto '08) it takes me to the US Apple pages, which quote prices in US dollars. I had to edit the URL to get to the NZ page.

I haven't created a book or other item that I want to purchase yet, so would be interested in any reports of the actual experience of going through this within iPhoto.

Does it work with older versions, or just iPhoto '08?

You have to create your account to be sent to the correct country. If you already have an Apple ID (i.e. Applestore account or iTunes account) and use that user name and password, most of the info is already there, it's just a case of clicking the 'nexrt' button.

iPhoto compatibility is mentioned in the news story on the main page.

Sorry to disagree, but I believe it was...and secondly, you posted the press release (or very similar content). As mentioned, please use the "submit news" link, not the forum or comments area for such things.
