Itunes random not so random 1 Month, 1 Week ago  
Is it just me or is itunes not so random, of a play list of about 900 songs that I listen to most, itunes seems always pretty much pick the same tracks

This was commented on across the net when iTunes first came out. In fact, someone from memory had investigated the algorithm used (or something like that) and said it wasn't as random as it should.

I've heard it suggested that you can create a smart playlist of the least played songs and ask it to pick randomly from that...but to me, that doesn't mean random...but random of non-played songs.
