Hi all,

You need to be a registered user and logged in to submit a Quick Tip. Once logged in, you will find a series of new menu links appear on the left. Click on the “Submit Quick Tips” link in the user menu.

* Try to word the title of the FAQ as a question...e.g “How do I empty the trash on my Mac?”
* Try to keep the answers as succinct as possible...almost like instructions.
* Try to keep the FAQ free of personal comments...eg “Here’s a cool tip I learnt” or “Personally, I think this approach stinks” etc etc
* If there is a category missing that would better suit your Quick Tip, just start the detailed explanation section with a comment in capitals such as...PLEASE CREATE NEW CATEGORY CALLED "PAGES" etc.
* Images (if you feel the tip needs them...and they would be great if they do) can be emailed to philip.roy@nzmac.com, indicating which tip the images go with

PLEASE DON’T BE CONCERNED IF YOUR TIP DOESN’T APPEAR QUICKLY

It could be for a number of reasons....

* I’m swamped with work or Quick Tip submissions
* Someone else has submitted a similar tip
* You didn’t actually submit a tip or completed submission

You can enter as many times as you like and you can win more than one of the prizes. Winners will be randomly selected...so submit away!

Hi all,

I'm back from overseas and have a couple of tips to process some time tomorrow. With less than a week to go, there are only a few tips submitted so far.....so you have an incredibly good chance of winning if you want to submit a tip. Go for it!!

Thanks very much - I'm quite chuffed to get the gift voucher.

My one was to put NZ Stat holidays into Ical - any quicktips people have that are NZ related I'm really interested in. Also NZ related widgets.

Umm...did you read the post above yours? Woody submitted a tip that tells you how to do this...it's in the quick tips section. Is that what you needed?
