No worries...just wish I listened to radio more so I would use it

I do get email from ex-pats etc that love the widget. Note the forum...I also tend to delete these threads once issues are sorted.

1.3.3. just released. I've not included Bsport as I can't get it working. You should download the Flip4Mac utility as described here....

...and activate streaming.

Re:NZmac Radio Widget 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago
I just want to say thanks for the info on NZMac.com re this widget. I'm a new mac user (1 week) and one of the disappointments I've had is in not being able to readily listen to NZ Radio stations.
Didn't receive any useful assistance from Applecare. The retailer I purchased from didn't know anything either.
Cheers

Hi again
Can you help me please. Trying to listen to Radio Sport via this widget but what I'm getting is a broadcast segment repeating over and over again.
What have I done wrong?

Have you followed all the instructions including downloading the additional utility mentioned...

Note - I may split those two pages into two.

Ok, I've just released a new version,1.3.4.

That version (on loading) now has a message "For Help, Click here" that links to a new help page...
http://www.nzmac.com/radio-widget-help.html

Then, on the back of the widget, the credits page and help pages are now separate links. Should solve some of the issues with people not knowing where the help is (not all widgets make use of the hidden 'i' feature)....

Hi Phil,

I was surfing around and found this webpage for all NZ radio stations that stream. If I knew how, or was shown how, I'd offer to put these into the widget.

Cheers

It's mentioned....and most that will work with my widget are in there already, tahnks.

Many stations use a different format for streaming that the widget won't support. It would make it overly complex and require additional software (like RealPlayer) to get them to work also.

fair enough, I wouldn't know that sort of stuff, really appreciate the stuff you gurus know and do so that people like me can just push a button and magically everything works - which is real good when showing PC users how good Apple are!! Thanks again
