NZMac.com - Supporting the New Zealand Mac community

I dont know about you but i dont like the NZ Mac logo, surely someone can do better, the new site layout is nice, but seriously that logo is nasty!

Can't say that I am an artist, but the logo looks fine to me.
Calling it "nasty" is a bit strong to put it mildly

Well its been annoying me and i had to say something, and im serious it is nasty.

Your other posting announcing your site has been deleted. It simply isn't relevant to this site or forum.

As to the logo, you're opinion is noted. The logo won't be changing....I've got too many business cards and stickers with it on...and I like it.

JaNiles, if I was to pull all the things I don't like about your site from a designer point of view, I would have about 2 pages. (If you would like me to, I will happily do so.)

The NZMac.com logo might not be the most thancy logo in the world, but it is definately not the ugliest (I give it a 7/10), and it suits the site too.

JaNiles, if you don't like the Logo, simple solution - surf with Firefox, and either use a plugin that will change the image for you, or just block the image so that it doesn't load.

And been webdesigning since I was 14 , I understand JaNiles position - I used to do the same thing (when I was 14)

But I also do it for a job, so I assume I at least know a little about it. Enough to make a few websites:
