I don't think that's an official Apple twitter account. I can't find it linked from their site, it doesn't show up in any blog posts listing the official accounts, and Apple has had many more news items that.

Yeah someone said that via twitter to me also and I agree. Odd that Apple haven't tried to grab that account off whoever is using it. They do have twitter accounts (see the iTunes page on their site for one) but I don't think this is one.
