Just wondering if any one out there hooks up to a Windows server using CIFS/SMB

If so do they see correct dates for the files on the server. My creation dates are all Jan 1 1904 and always have been - I can't find anything to suggest others have this problem?

Is it just me?

I use a PowerPC iMac 20" under Tiger hooked to a windows 2003 server.

It showed up recently as a problem in that WORDs docx files with these dates give weird problems for PC users - it creates a 1980 data which makes the files look like from a very early version of Word?
