Introduction

There are a huge range of companies and institutions that we all deal with each and every day. They often directly or indirectly tell us that they support Mac users...and if they don't, it's the view of this site that they should.

But let's be realistic. As a community, we aren't a huge group. We're not asking for attention above and beyond those that take the more traditional approach. We are however asking for recognition and common sense...including common sense systems that don't shut people out. We're also wanting to praise those that make the extra effort to acknowledge the Mac community and ensure their systems work for us. It is those groups that will reach the NZMac.com "Hall of Fame".

So how does it work?

On the chart above are companies, institutions and services that NZMac.com readers have taken time to tell us about, and explain their praise or complaints about the company. From there, we can see just how helpful these companies and institutions are toward Mac users...and which ones go so far out of their way to be helpful, that they deserve to be in NZMac.com's "Mac Friendly Hall of Fame".

How can I tell NZMac.com about one of my experiences?

Easy. Just complete this form

Please note : The majority of information contained in the Mac Friendly section has been supplied by readers of the site in good faith. While some have chosen to have their name listed, others have not. Whilst we endeavour to check the accuracy of the information supplied, we do not have time to appraise each service in the same degree as our readers hopefully have. It must also be noted that these pages are the combination of information supplied to us, as well the comments, opinions and experiences of our site readers. You are most welcome to question, argue with or provide alternative comments on any of the services mentioned.

Please Note 2 : The "Mac Friendly" section is not intended to cover the 'blindingly obvious'....we won't be listing feedback on Mac dealers, Apple Resellers or other companies that sell Macs, repair them etc (please see the listings for what categories of businesses we do accept)....we kind of expect companies that deal with Macs on a daily basis to be Mac Friendly. This section is not a section for feedback on their services.
