Mac Friendly Companies
www.actrix.co.nz
Information provided by Ben Lewis Evans - NZ Macguide Issue 12 Pros
Actrix has a dedicated Mac technician who works full time four days a week and answers emails all week round. On top of this its general tech support team is trained in basic Mac issues. It also has Mac-specific instructions for both OS X and earlier systems on its web page, to help with such things as setting your email.
Actrix also puts out a monthly newsletter to its customers that has featured Mac-specific articles in the newsletter. Actrix claims to have many Mac users due to its Mac technician. Cons
The web-based help is okay, but doesn't assist with the set-up of broadband connections and doesn't tell you how to configure Mail. A few of the pages were reporting broken links. Actrix does not provide any Mac-specific purchase advice for ADSL modems.
