Imageupdated Following on from a posting on the Australian MacTalk website, it appears that iPhoto printing is now available to New Zealanders directly from within iPhoto. Links on the Apple website (http://www.apple.com/nz/ilife/iphoto/printproducts.html) point to a range of products that can now be purchased. It should be noted that iPhoto was updated to version 7.1.2 shortly before this, so the update may possibly be needed.

New Zealanders appears to have the ability to create books, calendars, cards and prints, with costs ranging from 29 cents (GST) for a 4x6" photo to books starting at NZ$43.99 (inc GST) for 10 pages, with extra pages at an additional cost. Detailed pricings available on the page listed above. Postage costs (and where they are posted from) is not clear at this point.

Confirmed now in a press release....

I think the more interesting thing here is how NZ (probably by proxy from Australia) is now clearly on Apple's radar.
Extrapolating, does this mean we will see,

1. the iPhone this year?
2. TV shows
3. Movies
4. Movie rentals
5. Apple stores??

then you'll really see the hits to your bank balance Phil smilies/wink.gif

This is certainly great news. I've had to get iPhoto books from a third-party in Aussie for the last few years.

Does anyone know if/when Aperture book printing is supported?

MattD, still can't find a postage listing and I just ordered a book...standard shipping was $9.99. Is that because it is a book...or a 56 page book?
