airportexpress2-080317Apple Insider say there's the possibility of a new AirPort Express from Apple, according to developer notes of the AirPort Utility that updates it to improve compatibility for the AirPort Express 802.11n (2nd generation). Various online retailers are also reporting that the AirPort express has been discontinued, and other sites are also reporting that the AirPort express will be out of stock for the next 2-5 weeks, a sure-fire sign that new AirPort Express models are on the way in the near future.

Apparently Final Cut Pro X received such severe backlash on the Mac that users voted with their wallets. The Loop says that sales of Adobe video tools rose by a not-insubstantial 45%, which Adobe say can be attributed to a large number of Final Cut Pro X users switching to Adobe Premiere Pro.

 

Two pretty cool Safari extensions from the same developer are the Type-to-Navigate which allows you to navigate links on webpages by typing the names of links on your keyboard, and Invisible Status Bar which does exactly what it says on the tin, in that it provides you with an invisible status bar that only appears when you mouse-over a link, just like Google Chrome.

 

Apple has accused a Chinese food company of copying their logo, and while I can see the similarities, any different and it would be a stretch. I'll leave this one for the courts to sort out.
