News from the Apple rumour blogs has it that Apple originally had a 15-inch MacBook Air prepped and ready to go for 2010, but engineering issues with the hinge not coping with the larger display prompted Apple to scrape the entire thing for the 2010 product refresh that brought us the current design. Now Apple are preparing to reveal the larger-screened MacBook Air (perhaps sometime as early as March next year), presumably with a redesigned hinge to cope with all those extra pixels.

Over at the 1Password blog there's a post that explains the Mac trojan DevilRobberV3 in some detail, including what the trojan does and how that affects your 1Password data. In a nutshell, the trojan, installed when users install a pirated copy of Pixelmator, steals user information in the form of various files, including the 1Password data file. The DevilRobberV3 trojan also attempts to mine bitcoins.

The New York Times has a good article on Apple in the enterprise. What they say about Steve Jobs is interesting, but only because they also say that perhaps Tim Cook is more enterprise-friendly than Steve Jobs was.
