Peter Mellow, Flexible Learning Advisor at AUT has become an Apple Distinguished Educator and was presented with his award at a ceremony at the AUT yesterday.

The Apple Distinguished Educator Program identifies and rewards excellence and leadership in innovative uses of educational technology with the wider teaching community - across the globe. Apple Distinguished Educators are today’s pioneers in incorporating the latest technology into their educational projects or teaching activities. Peter is only the second such tertiary educator to receive this award in New Zealand and also won a National Tertiary Teaching Excellence Award this year.
