Now, the Australian AppleTalk website is reporting that the oft-labelled 'New Zealand born Australian actor' Russell Crowe appeared on radio in Australia and gave the date of April 28th for his solo music being available via iTunes Australia.
The AppleTalk site comments... Russell Crowe appeared on The John Laws radio show this morning to promote his latest solo music to an Australian audience. At about 10:45am Crowe got talking about availability of his work he mentioned that: "you can download some of music from iTMS which is avalible in australia on the 28th [of April]". Whilst anyone who has heard Crowe's disbanded group "30 Odd Foot Of Grunts" will know he really should stick to acting, the comment from such a prominent person solidifies the rumours circulating at the moment. More details are available from the AppleTalk site... http://forums.appletalk.com.au/index.php?showtopic=6874
"But the most telling information comes from music industry insiders who say that Apple on Thursday (the 28th) will launch a national advertising campaign for the iTunes music store in Australia. Already the computer maker has booked spots with several radio stations that will begin airing Thursday afternoon." Related Articles
