I'm often asked for recommendations by Mac users (and those less fortunate) as to which ISP to go with for broadband services. As you will no doubt notice, this site features advertising from Orcon and I'm with them for my home broadband as part of our arrangement. I couldn't be happier with their service.
Recently I once again suggested Orcon to someone wanting advice...after all they are the TUANZ ISP of the Year Award 2006 and NZ Macguide's "Best Internet Service Provider for Mac". But at the same time I decided to contact Orcon and see if there was anything I could do to help those that ask. Orcon has been fantastic in their response and so I take great pleasure in introducing the "NZMAC Promo Code", which will give all new and transferring broadband customers joining/moving to Orcon, a one-off $30 credit on their account!
It's so incredibly easy to use. When you are signing up online at the Orcon site, one of the text boxes will say "Promotion Code" and you will simply need to put NZMAC in to that box and the $30 credit will be applied to your account.
I'm over the moon to be able to support Mac users (and others too...because hey, Orcon aren't going to check are they!) wanting to use broadband and the superb services of Orcon, by being able to announce this promo code offer to you all. Many thanks to Orcon for doing this!
And...
I'd like to state that this is a great example of NZMac.com being able to support you all. The site does not benefit financially in any way from this promo code...you do! But I'm also aware (and possibly being too hopeful?) that there is an opportunity here for suppliers of some other goods and services to perhaps also offer a discount to those using an "NZMAC" code.
If there are local resellers or companies out there that are interested in offering such a service, feel free to email me ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Once again, there is no expectation of payment to NZMac.com, but I would like to see any offers to users of the site be regular and ongoing offers.

Look left If the Orcon advert is in the left menu (which at the time of writing, it is) you should see that that the offer is also still listed there....so Yes. |
