NZiPhone.com has been part of Apple's iTunes Affiliate program for a few months, but it has only been in recent days that the affiliate scheme has released accurate links to generate commission on iTunes paid app purchases. This means when you visit NZiPhone.com, you can support the site at no extra cost when purchasing paid apps via an iTunes link in each review.
Unlike the Apple Store affiliate program, the links are specific and immediate. This means that if you see a review of a commercial application on NZiPhone.com, you should click the link (usually an "iTunes" button in the review as you see in the image below) allow iTunes to load that application, and make the purchase immediately.

This is different to the Apple Store system, where you can come to either NZMac.com or NZiPhone.com, click an Apple advert to be directed to the Apple Store, browse at your leisure and make purchases, whilst still supporting the site at no extra cost. This won't happen with iTunes, as you aren't tracked as you use the iTunes application.
So, if you are going to purchase a commercial application for the iPhone or iPod Touch and it is reviewed on NZiPhone.com, just go to the review and click the "iTunes" link. NZiPhone.com will then receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.
Thank you in advance for using this system...and to all those who continue to support both sites by making their Apple Store NZ purchases via the Apple adverts on both sites. This is very much appreciated and allows for some cost recovery related to running the two sites.
Cheers, Philip Roy
