NZMac.com is pleased to announce that on October 10th 2005, it will be launching podcasts from the site with the opportunity for site members to have their voice heard by indicating that they would like to contribute a podcast (details of what is required can be found here ). At the same time, some of the podcasts (to be published every three weeks) will feature an invited guest who will provide a commentary about their experiences, views and or options about all things Macintosh or what it is to be a part of the New Zealand Macintosh community. The October 10th podcast will be presented by Paul Johnston, Managing Director of Renaissance Limited, the distributors of Apple Computers in New Zealand. Podcasts will be published and available via iTunes and from a new "Podcast" area of the Local Voices section of this site. Podcasts will become a prominent feature of the Local Voices section of the site and you'll be able to find occasional articles about the content of the podcasts themselves, as well as information on how you can become in involved by signing up for a podcast. A schedule of the forthcoming podcasts is viewable here. The aim of the podcasts is to continue the goals of the NZMac.com site, by involving users of the site and Mac users within New Zealand by inviting them to author and contribute a podcast for broadcast. I'm thrilled to announce this new feature of the NZMac.com site and I want to take this opportunity to thank all those who have signed up already for a podcast and for those who will do so in the coming months. I look forward to hearing your views and sharing our voices. Regards, Philip Roy Related Articles
