An odd name, but this competition is really simple! It's up to you to do whatever you want to do to contribute to the site and you'll have a chance to win some goodies from my trip to the States and from the Apple Company Store in return.
You might have a really good bookmark for us all, you might be a company wanting to list for free in the Business Directory. I might have seriously missed out on some key dates for inclusion in the online Mac Event Calendar...or might I be missing some local User Group information.....whatever!
So here's how it works....there are a number of sections on the site that will be part of the competition. If you contribute to any of the following sections over the next few weeks, make sure you email me

about it, and you're automatically in the draw:
In short, anything you want to add to any of these sections (yes, I have made some obvious exclusions, including the Discussion Forum) that will add to the great information available for Mac users in New Zealand (and note, the info must of course be of benefit to Mac users) will be accepted. And it's not necessary, but if things did focus a bit on Education then I'd be happy, as that is a section that we need to support more Mac users in.
Now, on to the goodies. The best contributions about 'whatever' will get first choice of a prize and then I'll work my way down through the four (yes, four!) people selected as winners, with second getting second choice etc. The prizes up for grabs (all purchased from the Apple Company Store by me):
- An Apple drinks bag/wine cooler bag
- An Apple cap and Apple Pen
- An Apple silver clip keychain and Apple Pen
- An Apple 'carabina' style key ring
The bag is amazing. When you first see it, it's unzipped and completely
flat. The black outer area is padded and ribbed, and the inside covered
with water-proofing and a pocket that hangs loose in its unzipped
state.
What most people find puzzling is how it all goes together,
given that the sides are curved....that's where the fun comes in. As
the bag is zipped up along both sides, the zips curve in to become
the sides of the case and the picnic bag is formed, complete with a
zipped top. You can pack all your food in, use the pocket area for
specific items and of course....when you get to your destination, unzip
and lie the whole thing out flat as a surface to keep your food sitting
on.
The silver clip keychain comes in its own little box. It has a nice oval part to it with an etched-on Apple logo and a hook where you can latch on
a huge amount of keys. All very trendy indeed!
The Apple cap is a straightforward cool looking Apple cap and the carabina style keyring has been given away previously on this site (these are close to my last goodies to give away people!)
