UPDATE  To celebrate the release of HyperStudio 5 (Advanced Release), NZMac.com and The Software MacKiev Company are giving away a copy of HyperStudio 5 to one lucky person. It's very easy to enter the draw. Simply read the review of HyperStudio and then answer 3 simple questions. The competition closes at midnight on December 5th.

Please note that NZMac.com is a website dedicated to supporting the New Zealand Macintosh community. The winner of the competition will be required to provide a New Zealand postal address, where the software will be sent.

In order to enter into the competition...

  • Address an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
  • Make the subject of the email "HyperStudio 5 competition"
  • Read the review of HyperStudio 5 (Advanced Release) and send the answers to the following 3 questions in the email:
    • What is the name of the dog that has always featured in HyperStudio?
    • Once you've developed a series of screens (cards) in HyperStudio, the resulting project file is referred to as a "HyperStudio St _ _ k"
    • Name one of the options you have to export your HyperStudio project to (clue - see "Showing off and compatibility")

You have until midnight on Friday December 5, 2008 to email me.

Do not send me your postal address! I will request this from the winner. Failure to provide a New Zealand address within 1 week of winning will see a new winner selected.

  • Overseas users of the site are welcome to enter, but prizes will only be shipped to a New Zealand address
  • Only one entry can be submitted per person/email address. Any entries that are suspected to come from someone who has entered already (or using a similar address) will be declared null and void.
  • A winner will be picked at random after the closing date
  • The judge's (Philip Roy) decision is final and no discussion will be entered into
  • The prize is not exchangeable for cash
  • Email addresses of entrants will not be kept after the contest has closed and the winner announced
