Shown below are the various stages that NZMac.com has gone through since its inception on January 1st, 2003.

Version 7 - July 11th 2010

A change to a more robust design with better optimisation of code and the ability to bring in new features more quickly. This update brought NZMac.com on to a par with NZiPhone.com and many of the same modules, plug-ins and components are now used on both sites, making maintenance of the sites a little easier to manage.

Version 6 - October 12th 208

This new design was a long time coming for one simple reason....it was a major overhaul and migration of the Joomla Content Management System that runs the site. The site was migrated to Joomla version 1.5, with new functionality and the fixed-width design introduced to celebrate the relaunch. A lot of new features were introduced, along with some well-used features (such as the newsletter system) being bid a fond farewell.

Version 5 - March 27th 2006

(The surprise update) A spur of the moment decision to move to a commercial template that is entirely CSS based and allows for a fluid layout. This was done while the site was down and was migrated to a new forum system.
