Answer
One of the things that is always a problem, is remembering the right settings when you are printing special documents or booklets. This quick tip will show you how to save your settings for later recall. It's also handy when you want to quickly change settings without having to delve through the menus.
Firstly open the print dialogue box your favourite way (File > Print or ⌘ (Command / Apple) + P).
If you get the condensed print window as shown below click the down arrow on the right have side of the dialogue box (circled in red below)...

Now define your settings by drilling through all the different options...

When you have finished defining your settings, under the presets menu select "Save As"...

Give your preset a meaningful name and click OK..

Now in the preset menu, you will see your new preset...

Whenever you want to print something with those settings, simply select that preset. Once you have selected a preset it will automatically use the last preset in the print dialogue. That means if you want to return to the standard settings you will need to select the 'Standard' preset.
If you simply want to reuse the last settings you used, select the 'Last Used Settings' preset from the menu.
