The functionality to restart from Windows back to your Mac quickly is already built in to BootCamp. When you have started up using Windows, make sure you save anything you need to save, look for the BootCamp icon in the lower-right stats bar....

From Mac OS X to Windows

The functionality needed doesn't come with OS X by default. Instead, install the freeware software application BootChamp (www.kainjow.com) and set the application to open on login (this is covered in another Quick Tip). When you have started up under Mac OS X, make sure you save anything you need to save, look for the BootChamp icon in the top menu bar....
